Today’s Walking Photo: Since I am temporarily sidelined until my feet heal from the abuse I heaped upon them during Sunday’s hike, I figured I’d post another shot from that outing and at least make it worthwhile. We encountered this profusion of cairns near the summit of Angel’s Rest. Seems like it would be cool to construct one of these sometime.

Today’s Walking Photo: Well, walking today didn’t go so great, due to the after-effects of poor footwear choices for a hike I did yesterday. In an effort to boost my spirits, I decided to remind myself of how much fun the hike was by posting a photo from that. So here’s a shot from the top of Angel’s Rest in the Columbia Gorge. Sources vary, but this is somewhere around 1600 feet up. Made for a great day with my brother.

Today’s Walking Photo: When the music ends and the Waterfront Blues Festival is over for the day, party time is just beginning on the flotilla of boats anchored near the south stage.
Today’s Walking Photo: Sunshine and clouds battle it out over Portland.
(Yes, different walk today. It was nice.)
