Today’s Walking Photo: Whoa, man – somebody’s got us beat on flock size. Left us in the dust, in fact. However, one look at that fence and I can tell you they’ve got rats in their coop and we don’t. Hope they’re keeping an eye out for coyotes and cougars, too.

Today’s Walking Photo: The good news here? The next time someone asks me, “Hey, do you know if they make a giant inflatable chick wearing a bunny costume?”, I will have an answer.
And that is really the only good news here.
Today’s Walking Photo: Farmer Dave explains how he came to be known as the Chicken Whisperer.
My lovely wife’s brother Dave runs a Waldorf kindergarten in Boulder, CO with his wife Seana. We went for a visit this past weekend, and on Sunday Dave gave us a walking tour of the biodynamic farm that is an integral part of the school. Since I don’t normally post walking photos on the weekend, I’m posting this throwback pic today. It was a bit of a chilly walk (see the snow?), but they’ve really got a beautiful thing going there. We had a great visit.
Today’s Walking Photo: Look - it’s topiary! Right here in Stumptown! Keep Portland weird, man!
