This distinguished-looking fella is a course marker for the very unofficial but very popular bicycling event known as <a href="http://www.rondepdx.com" target="_blank"><strong>Ronde PDX</strong></a>. It took place a couple weekends ago, and the course is renowned as the most fiendishly difficult combination of hills and distance anyone could devise: 47 miles and almost 8000 feet of climbing.
